The Guide to Esports for Education

In September 2018, my school district approved the creation of the FH Knights. The FH Knights are the first middle school esports team in the country

Since then I’ve spent a lot of time helping others bring esports to their school. To continue to help I’ve created some resources I’d love to share with you!

The Esports Education Playbook

I’ve written a book that is part why and part how-to guide. We are really proud how educators from around the world are using The Esports Education Playbook to bring esports team to their school. You can get your copy here!

Garden State Esports

Founded by teachers for students, GSE is my nonprofit where our mission is to create high-quality, student-centered experiences through scholastic esports by providing the learning, competition, and the community needed for ALL students to use esports as a platform to grow. If you’re from NJ, join us! Even if you’re not from NJ, you’ll find tons of free resources to help you bring esports to your school!

The Guide to Esports in Education

This guide will be a living document that I keep updated, along with all the talented educators who were kind enough to contribute. There are a lot of educators in this growing esports for education (#esportsedu) movement that help make this guide great. You can find them listed at the end in the contributors section. If you want to contribute to the guide, or have questions that this guide didn’t answer, please let me know. Otherwise, enjoy the guide and I hope we can grow esports in education together.
